About me:
Welcome, my name is Peter Asprey from England. I've been "geo" tagging images since 1996, when I used to download track logs from my GPS and match them to the date time stamp on my slide photos.
A move to digital photography and a dedicated GPS data logger in 1999 made things much more fun :).
My collection now extends to over 150,000 geotagged images covering over 10 years and much of the UK.
Here I will upload just a few 100 of the good weather trips where the map shows no existing images.
Send me a message if there is an area of the UK you want to see me upload here. I've an extensive collection of the highlands of Scotland, and English National Parks.
* The Highlands and far North of Scotland will be this months upload project.
* All my images uploaded here are taken from the public highway, public right of way or in places where public access and my photography was permitted.
* As some of my geotagged photographs are several years old, please don't forget that roads, structures and even rules for public access may have changed since I took the photograph. You may find it interesting to see how some areas have changed over time.
